Pochettino gone from Spurs.

Edit: sacked!

Nuno Espirito Santo would be an hilarious replacement.

That would be enjoyable.

Edit: and a much better idea for them than Mourinho.

And perfect timing with Neil Warnock available.

Steve Bruce is doing well at Newcastle, they could go for him. Although he's not the sort to leave a club for another job.

Could go full house and borrow Wenger off FIFA as caretaker.

Mourinho will do well for 18 months and then it will all fall apart - sky will be loving this!

Imagine having a really progressive manager who took your tin pot club farther than it had any right to go - and then thinking Jose Mourinho was the way forward.

Incredible.

The fans will soon get bored of his negative football.

A chequebook manager working for a chairman who doesn't like spending money. This could be the worst marriage since Bill Wyman married Mandy Smith.

A marriage made in hell Levy and Mourinho. I hope it all ends in misery about this time next season.

Here in North London, the thick grey smoke from burning duvet covers lies heavy in the air.

There is zero chance that he will have taken the job if he wasn't going to be given serious cash.

I don't see it as being a particularly bad move for either party. Pochettino did a great job but seemed to have lost his way. A lot of the people saying he should have been given more time were the same that said they were crazy to get rid of Redknapp for him in the first place, and that worked out okay.
