Villa Park - European Cup Day: Some photos
« on: May 26, 2012, 11:51:27 PM »
Popped down to VP today to renew my season ticket (was always going to I suppose) and had my camera with me so took some pics.

Thought i'd upload them to Flikr for all to see. Looking glorious in the sunshine.

It really is a quite excellent stadium isn't it? Why wouldn't you want to manage Aston Villa Football Club that type of facility and its potential etc. Great photos, thanks for posting them.

As I was in a box at Wembley yesterday, I decided to have a look around the displays and exhibits at half time. Found the champions exhibition where they had a display cabinet for every European Cup winner with items and photos in. All had cool stuff in ours had an original programme and a signed karl Heinz Germam-German shirt. Pretty disappointing.

Yep, I looked at the same display when I was in the Club Level for the NFL. Very disappointing from a Villa point of view

This takes pride of place in my place. Can't believe i've had the scarf nearly 30 years now. It's older than some of the posters on here!

Could the club get in touch with Wembley to change it.

Thnak you.
What are the pitch markings in front of Trinity?

There was a corporate 5-a-side on there last Friday.  Played in it and managed to bag one and slide on my knees in front of The Holte!  Glorious, even though we didn't quite make it out the group stages.
