I think you've missed the point a bit there with Joey Barton danlanza!

I nominate Juan Pablo Angel as offside coach ... oh, wait a minute!

Ogs should have the freedom to choose all of his backroom staff with no sentiment involved regarding ex villa players.

Look at the club mentioned above.  Newcastle.  They go in for sentimental nonsense like this there.  If we appoint OGS he needs to bring his own men in, not have someone foisted on him to further appease the fans.

100% agree with this and including Sid and Mac if that is the case

I know this is heresy to even raise, but Sid has been on the bench for the last two seasons, and one imagines has a big roll in coaching.

Hmmm.

As was MacDonald this season.  You could argue that the pair of them have been given a pretty easy ride considering.

Easy ride or ignored? I know which I believe.

I meant they have been given an easy ride by the fans in light of the hammering other members of staff (Houllier, MacAllister, McLeish and Grant) have got.

Sadly, I don't think KMac or Sid were that involved in the training set up. That was 'designed' by AM and footballing genius, Peter grant. Rumours towards the end of the season stated both players and staff were very confused as to the training sessions ordered by McLeish.

My guess is we only trained using two thirds of the pitch.

I'd imagine both Sid and Kevin feel very short changed from their experiences with the first team squad and I wouldn't be surprised to see Kevin MacDonald leave in the next few months.

Heskey would be in charge of scaring the pigeons from under the roof of the Holte and North Stand.
