No, the ones being hypocrites aka Stu.
Thanks for singling me out.
Claim Martinez is no good and too inexperienced yet want a manager even more inexperienced and could be arguably just as if not more risky
The fact is that I've seen Martinez teams being humped up hill and down dale for the last two seasons, only to get it together at the end of the year. It's like watching Coventry City in the '90's all over again. He's done nothing to impress me at all.
However the likes of Stu (lol) don't mind seeing the bigger picture when it comes to Solskjær potentially managing us but refuse to see the bigger picture when it comes to Martinez potentially managing us.
Once again, thanks for singling me out. And again the fact is that I know what we'd be getting from Martinez - our team would have a soft underbelly, and be easy pickings for teams that are determined and strong. In fact, they wouldn't even have to be that, Martinez teams don't generally score that much and their defence is shite - worse than ours in the season just gone.
Solskjaer is a gamble, admittedly, but I've also backed Lambert strongly on this board. I'm at a place where its one of those two I'd prefer, but I'll admit that I'm excited about having a go with an unknown quantity.
I've never been a fan of Martinez, and I don't get the hype surrounding him either. Now I've explained myself, perhaps you'd like to explain why you think Martinez would be so good for us? Because all I see is someone that specialises in Alamo-type escapes at the end of every season, after spending the preceding 7 months getting smashed.
