I'm certain Comical Alex will be potted on Monday. That is something to make us all feel overjoyed.

Next season won't be this bad. It can't be.

We haven't got to watch Villa try to draw with anyone for months.
Heskey will never play for us again.
We've got a couple of new kits to look forward to.
Chris Herd is going to be ace.
Darren Bent might play for us next season.

There are a few positives.

Not to forget Weimann, Lichaj, and Clark are starting to look like good players.

Also, Stephen Ireland seems like he'll be with us next season, and we know there's a great player in him somewhere.

If we get a manager with some attacking intent, hopefully we'll see the best of our boys. I mean for all that N'Zogbia and Alby have been shite this season, playing in such a stifled, negative side doesn't help players like that. If we're more adventurous we can get more out of them as well as hopefully see something of Makoun too.

- Ashley Young did not receive a premier league winners medal
- James Milner did

So did Custard Pants.

And Carlos Tevez.
I'm delighted for Gazza Bazza: after the 11 years he gave us, I'm chuffed that he's got a winner's medal.

This is exactly how I feel.

For all the stick I've given him when Man City have come to Villa Park, and for the feeling of betrayal I had when he left - he's a damn fine player, a good professional, and I'm happy he's finally got what he's earned.

I support Aston Villa, not Man City.  I don't give a shit what happens elsewhere!  Up the Villa, sack McLeish.

Look at us now. Look at City. Can anyone really blame him? He probably knew Villa wouldn't do any better and eventually we'd regress. Doubt he'd have imagined quite this much, but now he's got an FA Cup medal and a EPL medal. Fair play to him. He was a class player and just a whole level of class better than what we have. He might have a fat arse but he made the right choice. Can't blame him at all. It's hard not to like GB. He's not a twat or an arrogant prick like most players. He has a good attitude. Same with Milner. He was just badly advised a couple of times with his dealings with the press, and trying to force his move to Liverpool.

The fact is we badly need another player like Barry. Someone who is consistent. Works for the team and is actually a decent player.

Good for you. I support Villa, but I love football in general.

don't follow that logic at all. Both milner and young were brilliant for villa and young has proven he is a top class player at manure. why would you be happy he's been denied a medal but happy that milner has got one, what did young do to piss you off so much?
