The pic also clearly shows the pre-match spots of Legion and Mr Woodhall

I haven't spoken to a single person whose footballing opinion I actually take seriously that think Wembley should be staging F.A Cup semi-finals instead of our beautiful old girl. I understand that Wembley is costing a fortune and it did inconvenience thousands of scousers this season but come on. They whine about the magic of the F.A Cup disappearing? Giving the semis back would go a long way to restoring some of it.

Funnily enough I went to the Spurs game with a Spurs supporting mate - he said that outside + inside its the best stadium he's seen (that includes the new Wembley I think).

I love the place. I had the original image as my wallpaper for ages. And whenever I was invited to one of those fantasy league things, my team name was always 'Fairground Attraction' as a nod to its previous incarnation.

With Birmingham having the Largest inner city Park in Europe

I know this gets bandied about but Sutton Park is hardly 'inner city'.

It's just that North Stand.  If we could just knock it down and rebuild it in the classic Villa style we would have the greatest ground bar none.  I saw a picture of Amsterdam Centraal train station the other day and I thought to myself imagine something with that kind of vibe at the Witton End of Villa Park!  It wouldn't be cheap but it would be incredible.

Just to add, I wouldn't want all the steeples as they appear in the Amsterdam photo, but the red brick structure and grand style would be very fitting for Villa Park.

Even now at my age and considering how long i've been going, I still get that feeling when I first see VP on match day. I love the place and feel immense pride that it's my home ground.
