Wear black at Norwich?
« on: May 08, 2012, 06:25:23 AM »
Some ideas to register our displeasure over the current manager next Sunday -

An entire away support dressed in black?

The Posnan Moon - we all link arms, turn around and moon at him as he strides to the dugout? For added effect, simultaneously break wind bang on 3pm.

Inflatable taxis - everyone points an inflatable taxi towards McLeish and whistles the theme tune to Taxi during the first ten minutes.

Corner Crescendo - Given we haven't scored once from a corner under McLeish's 'leadership', perhaps we could raise the roof when awarded one ...or alternatively all turn and face the other way as it's taken.

I'm favouring the Posnan Moon personally but would welcome other ideas. I reckon the default position may reign however, a relentless succession of disparaging songs aimed in his direction.

I have to say despite our displeasure at our manager I'm glad we haven't behaved like the Blackburn fans. I watched last night's game and the crowd didn't support the team once - it was all 'Venkys out' & 'sack Keane'. That cannot be good for the team.
I think that if 3K fans protest on Sunday AM & Faulkner will only make reference to a minority of objectors amongst a silent majority again?

3000 live chickens should do the trick.

This is good though.
What livestock, poultry, animals, or other original items  would it be appropriate for Villa fans to take to Norwich ?

SUPPORTERS KEEP OFF THE PITCH OR SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES.

Now I know why the link to its Twitter account went down.

I wouldn't go to Norwich dressed as medium-sized livestock. There are a lot of single young men ready to start a family out there.

After a season of reading some of the stuff on here I think the most appropriate show of disapproval on Sunday would be mass suicide in the Jarrold Stand.

I'm going to protest by getting pissed and enjoying myself. In my inebriated state, I will hurl abuse at the Villa dug out throughout, while people dressed as The Tellytubbies, Fred Flintstone and Spongebob Squarepants look on in disgust at my drunken, slobbering form. I may even make half hearted lunges at the beach balls, which always seem to bounce off the back of my head. Hope this helps.

Whoever is going, hope you have a great day out! In what they call 'the corner' up there you'll be right next to the home fans and in fairness to them, they're always up for some friendly banter. They'll give as good as they get, mind! If you all get a chant of 'We're having your manager next year' going it'll be hilarious - unless he turns us down in which case next year they'll remember! Hehehe. Good folk up there, wish I could go.

How the fuck do you sneak a chicken into a football match? Or did the person get searched, had his broken bottle and knife set taken from him but given the green light on farmyard animals?

Easily done. They get 15000 cocks into St Andrews every week.
