Sold out today, maybe suicidal depression is good for fanzine sales!

So that was the reason I didn't see you at about 5 to 2 outside the Witton Lane gates? Ended up missing out.

Woodhall still had a few over the road, I was counting his money by that time.

Went to the Wellington after the game and ended up having a couple of pints with three Spurs fans who had all bought H&V.
It turns out that they buy fanzines at every away match and rate H&V as one of the best in the country. Good quality production and content, is what they said.

Mr. Woodhall would it be possible to bring out a special collectors edition of the thoughts of Rob Yates? I'm sure it'd be a best seller. :)

Erm....no. It was my fault, i should have offered you a £20 note instead of a £10.  ;)

And what difference would that have made, except you having to buy two copies?

I blame my cousin, he talks to any old body.  :)

Can't argue with that.

OK, we've all had a chuckle at this guy in the past but his latest rant in the fanzine goes a bit too far for me.

I can understand that the rambling nonsense in his letters are put there for us all to laugh at him but his latest letter reflects badly on the fanzine in my view.  It's only barely literate and quite clearly spectacularly unbalanced.  Couple that with the excessive swearing throughout (don't children read H&V?), the xenophobia, and the hints of homophobia and for me it's gone too far.

I'm sure H&V gets plenty of letters for each issue and not all of them can make it into the fanzine so I'm interested to hear why this one got in.

You make a fair point. Leaving it in shows this person up for the imbecile he is, but it does mean that I will not be able to pass my copy on at work once DW sends it me (we sold out).

I read as much of the Rob Yates letter as i could but it was hard work. He had nothing to say other than dish out personal abuse.

Is Rob Yates some fictional character in the style of Barry Lose?
