RIP Karl Smith ( a Baggie with a heart of gold)
« on: April 26, 2012, 11:10:48 PM »
Found out a few hours ago that my monthers partner of 11 years was found by his father at home having passed away at the age of 50. I just wanted to thank him for everything he has done for my family especially during some trying times. My mother suffers with depression which brings with it a lot of family issues but Karl put up with it and provided a level head and a lot of support to us. After my father died, Karl helped my sister who had her own health problems and her young family.

He loved us all and always made sure we had what we needed, and was wonderfully to my nephews. I just feel guilty that I never knew him as well as I should and will never get the opportunity again and have no idea what this will do to my mother.

Thanks Karl for everything you've done especially under the difficult circumstances. You really had a heart of gold and I'm sorry if ive ever let you down. Rest in peace Boing Boing

RIP.  Don't reproach yourself; just try and be there for anyone in your family that needs you.  Depression is horrible, I know all about it.
