If we go down, Gabby may score 20+ goals in a season

I can't understand why you're prescribing vellum though. Do we all need to write very old-fashioned letters or something?  ;)

I'm sure Doug put them up when we last went down.

I loved the last line, it sums it up for me.

Positives from the season
« Reply #22 on: April 29, 2012, 09:50:05 AM »
I am aware, from others on the site, that some people are of a much more positive persuasion than I, and at the moment a majority of posters are. So, this thread is for the positive things about the club this season, and no mention of the biggest positive being when Eck leaves please.

I will kick us off with Chris Herd. I think he has been a revelation this season, and was gutted when he was moved to the right yesterday as he does such a strong, committed job in the middle of the park, and Gardner is not at that level yet.

So over to you guys, lets have a bit of sunshine....

Its much quicker getting a pint in the Eddies and there have been some fantastic boobies on display..

It was nice to watch Keane, I thought he was superb in his spell here, after that I'm struggling.

All of the young players have had their moments this season,Bannan and Albrighton are a question mark though. It was a shame that Samir Carruthers didn't get more of a game yesterday.I think that next season he is a very bright prospect.Shay Given on his own is the only reason that we have not been relegated weeks ago.He has been fantastic.Chris Herd has been mentioned, another great talent.Weimen will be a good player for us next season hopefully netting lots of goals.A very disapointing season but i think there is good to come next season.

We will reap the rewards of enduring such a dire campaign next season. It's been said before but I guarantee this will have been an excellent experience for our younger crop, and I'm sure they will come back stronger and a bit more wise.

Herd, Lichaj, Weimann and Clark continues to develop, I think we have the makings of a very good team in 2 to 3 years time. Also as a positive slant on a negative thing, some of our average, overpaid senior players have been exposed this season, which will make off loading them easier and we can move on with a longer term plan
