The ineptitude of Lerner
« on: April 22, 2012, 01:23:18 PM »
Can anyone name a business, where after major investment there is no major improvement, or as in Villa's case arguably there has been regression. Can there be an end to the myth RL is a businessman. The reality is he's inherited Daddy's fortune and through a succession of impulse purchases followed by boneheaded business decisions is pudding it away. Personally I wish he'd find a buyer and scoot. Like all rich kids he's bored and gone back to his favourite toy the Browns[float=right][/
Lerner out and take McGinge with ya....

Perhaps you've missed the threads called -

Time for Randy to go
Are we in denial
Are we going down
Does relegation beckon
the future of VP
the future of PaulF
a letter to paul F
The future of Hercules
the future of McLeish
Time for them to go
Takeover at VP
Who would be better than Randy/Paul/McLeish at running a whelk stall

and hundreds of comments like the above on pre and post-match threads over the last few months.

But clearly you feel that another one is needed.

I respect the way he has run the club, and sometimes it is better the devil you know.  The problem is that post-MON his lack of football knowledge has been shown up, before then he didn't really have that many big decissions to make.

I respect him, but I think the next couple of seasons could be key in defining how Lerner is rememberd as Villa chairman.

There has been an improvement - we're one place higher than we were when he bought us, and £300m odd down.
