I still stand by the belief that no one can possibly turn the statistics above, along with a number of others, into anything resembling a mediocre season let alone a good one.  Given that I can't imagine the board aren't thinking either he needs backing to replace young, downing, etc or are thinking they need a new manager.

I guess the underlying decision is going to have to be based on how much faith the board have in the squad and youth system.  Backing McLeish suggests they think the squad are no better than a relegation fight.  Given it's still a very expensively assembled squad I don't see how they can possibly think that.
The Board i.e Randy wont do anything in the summer because he is skint?
We will get a few freebies and a few bosman`s and mix it with the kids
That together with Mcleish next season equals disaster - whatever division we shall be in
Like a lot pf posters on here, I cannot believe the powers that be drive home after every game watching that and seeing the attendance and thinking "Yes, that Mcleish is definitely the man for us"
By the way - does anybody know what happened to that Irish lad we signed in January??
The Irish lad - Enda Stevens - is playing at left back for the reserves on a regular basis. I thought he looked ok. My mate John reckons he's a bit shit!

If he had any sense he got the next ferry back!

We've never conceded a goal when i've met Darren Woolley before the game.

And I think 4 wins at home and 18 goals scored is exactly what we'll end up on - that's disgraceful.

Check all the stats. Alex stats. Easy to find. We are now his team. We play with his philosophy.  This Manager and his so called 'coach' are Birmingham  -not Aston Villa.

Now please, at last, can we protest . We have been patient. Get this pathetic excuse out of our club.

I have seen us once live this season away from home

I have not travelled once to Villa Park to see us

I have probably watched the highlights of our games on MOTD about four or five times this season

I have not watched us once on Football First

I have probably watched us about three times live on the television

I have not bought one scrap of merchandise from the club this season

Sorry. What's your point? If you've lost interest, fair enough. Don't turn apathy into a cause celeb though.

At the moment the most damning stats are those of the last 6 games;

In that time;

Wigan have won 4
Bolton have won 3
QPR have won 3
Blackburn have won 1
Aston Villa have won 0

We can go through the season stats all we like, and they are appalling, but we need some points now and hope others don't do so well.  Judging by these stats we'd be right to be very nervous.

F**k me!
Says it all doesn't it?
I know we've had some bad luck with injuries but this pretty much reflects our performance since day 2 of the season. (I seem to remember we won a game on day1!)

Other fans have ceased to take the piss - they pity us - PITY!

It may be better to go down now than what we will experience come next season.

I will not buy a ticket for the Spurs match but will attend whatever protest is held even if we are "safe".

Has anyone forwarded these stats to Faulkner and Lerner? Just to let them know as they obviously haven't done the maths.

They are my stats for the season, that's all. I have no idea otherwise what you are on about. Try not to read so much into people's posts Tom, there are better things to be doing with your life

Sorry, we won a game on day 2.
Day 1 was a 0-0 draw. (Gasps in shock!) ;-)
