I like the PANTS idea.  Humorous and I’d imagine it’d create quite a buzz in the stadium which hopefully will not affect the players.  A pair should also be posted to randy so he knows the content of the protest (whatever that maybe).

I think thousands of skiddy pants would represent a good summation of the season so far under Alex McLeish.

When we play Spurs im in las vegas but I'll protest by not watching (not only that it's on about 7am)

The Crown and Anchor will have it on Phil, you're not getting away with it that easily.

Bloody cheapskates, back in the good days of AVISA, Deadly protests and the £ sign protest, we printed them out ourselves and gave them to the fans at the ground.

That's the trouble with the modern protesters, they just don't take the time to do things right. Tsk tsk

If the players are planning a last home game of the season lap of honour why dont we all just bugger off home at the final wistle and let them walk around and empty stadium.

That would send them all a strong message

A Ghandi style protest - I like it, silence is the most powerful noise.

We should all stay for the lap and not make any noise at all.

I'm saving any protest until we are definitely staying up, if we stay up.
If we are mathematically safe by the time we kick off against Spurs then I have no problem with Mcleish out banners and protests chants during the game from kick off to full time. Anti-Lerner protests too as far as I am concerned. Let all your pent up anger and frustration out I say !

But what will probably happen is we are playing out a dire 2-0 defeat at Norwich and going down. Its all on Sky of course - Survival Sunday ! Then with 2 minutes to go, cameras pan to Villa fans in ecstatic celebration. News has filtered through from the Etihad stadium, Milner has come off the bench and scored to put Man City 1-0 up against QPR. QPR go down with Blackburn and Wolves, Villa stay up! Full time ! Our manager punches the air in jubilation ! Players embrace, Villa fans invade the pitch lifting their heroes on their shoulders - oh the drama, the joy !
McLeish after the game is interviewed in upbeat victorious mood "Our players have showed great character, fight, and determination today. What an incredible season it has been. This is a marvellous day in the history of Aston Villa. Just listen to the joy of our fans out there. Next week I will fly over to the States to see Mr Lerner who I have just spoke to on the phone. From tomorrow morning, I start laying plans for the next campaign."

Enjoy the close season everybody.

I think that's quite likely to happen. Unless lots of people stay behind to heckle McLeish.

Once we're safe then fine, but Saturday is not the time.
