I would just like us to put in a performance to be proud of once before the end of the season. That won't right the wrongs we've been subjected to, but we deserve to be entertained after all the gash we've put up with pretty much since the final whistle of that 3-0 against West Ham last season.

Might survive by the skin of our teeth this season. But next season. GULP!

Championship teams coming up seem to be stronger and the gulf in class between the top of that league and the bottom of the Premier League isn't too much.

Just hoping Blackpool come up again, as I believe they'll be straight back down.

The other teams will respond and win the odd game - we won't. We deserve to go down and we will.

We'll be fine and at least 6 points clear.

we've got to win against Sunderland.

Don't and the pressure against Bolton will be immense and ultimately too much for us to take. Bolton will play on it like a spoilt child.

Probably not.

The rest of the league will be disappointed, though, and who can blame them.

Don't forget the AM factor. Doesn't matter how unlikely it may seem, he is a genius at relegation. He'll find a way.

The Bolton game has become a 6-pointer for us and I am genuinely terrified of it, though a win against Sunderland in seven days could potentially see us safe in my eyes. I think we'll be alright.

Quite frankly, we're utter shit and in any other season we'd more than likely be on our way down, and it's going to take a mass awakening from Lerner and his merry band of 'yes' men if we are to avoid relegation next season and begin to build the club back up to what it once was.

Right now, it's difficult even seeing us score another goal but I guess I shall feel a bit more optimistic come the middle of the week. I have been in such a snappy mood tonight with my family who don't understand the reason why though they should know by now. My youngest daughter has been accusing me of being a bad loser all evening. This club of ours is giving us absolutely nothing to cling on to right now and I feel completely impotent to do anything about it...

No simply because we will pick up a couple of points and that's all we need.

I have voted no, but only because I still think there is still more chance we will stay up than go down. I said a couple of weeks ago that I thought our chances of going down were about 2 or 3:1, rather than the 14:1 being quoted by the bookies. But because of the way we are playing, and the lack of any sign of direction or interest on the part of the players, I would say those odds have shortened further. I am also worried about our remaining games.

Sunderland=a manager with a point to prove.
Bolton-fighting to avoid the drop.
Spurs-fighting for Champions League.
WBA-local derby, and very competent manager.
Norwich-quite an incentive to relegate one of the "big clubs" during their celebratory last game.

If we lose to Sunderland, I can see us going on a run with no further points. The more I think about it, just as an equaliser from Stoke a few seasons back stopped us from gaining Champions League, an equaliser from Stoke last week could relegate us.

Of course not.

It's just ugly to watch, but in many ways it's good experience for the young players. Our average age was 23 today; they couldn't be expected to do brilliantly.

We've had the heart ripped out of our midfield over the past 3 years and let's face it, the manager can't be blamed for that.

Our keeper is good and has been lauded as one of the best in the Premier League for a few years now.

We're not going down. McLeish is doing about as well as could be expected.
