Our most in-form player at the moment, has to keep his place.

Hopefully he'll bang in 2 or 3 more before the season ends, I wish he would have just wacked that chance in the last minute on monday instead of cutting inside but his movement to get into the position was good.

'The gaffer was furious after the game as he reckoned I was in a good position to pass it back to Shay Given” said Weimann.'

How much truth said in jest! Good luck to Andreas though, looks a good player.
More likely he was taking the P**s out of some of the negative supporters.

More likely than not dear old Fletch has put in a humourous made up quote into the article and has waited to see if anyone bites.

He`s Austrian - do they have a sense of humour ? :)

I reckon he's no longer Austrian, he's so integrated into our culture nowadays. If you follow him on Twitter all he seems to do is eat at Nando's, hang around at Costas, play golf, and watch football on the telly (when he's not watching Man v Food).

He's a decent player. That goal was right out of the Robbie Keane playbook. I know many of us want to bring Keano back next season, but maybe we'd be better off looking to the future and bringing Weimann into the forefront of our plans. He's got a lot of similarities to Robbie in terms of style of play. I think he's got a lot of potential to be very good. What sets him apart from previous Villa academy forwards is that as opposed to pace being his most potent weapon, he's more technically gifted because he's not lightening quick. There's more about him and I think he could have more facets to his game than Das Vass, The Moore's, Fonz and Sir Gabbington of Agbonlashire.

We'll see. But that goal was pure class. I can't remember the last time one of our home grown forwards hit a shot see wonderfully sweet. Gab has scored some crackers, but Weimanns technique to just bend it in the corner like he did was Bergkampesque.

I love that programme.

Much of what he eats is shit, but it still makes me hungry.

Did you see the one where he went to that place that did fish and ate six fried pieces of fish on a sandwich which consisted of eight slices of bread, and doused in chilli sauce?

First reaction - "God, that's disgusting"
Shortly after - "Mind you, that fish looks nice. Hmmmm"

It's amazing what he eats, considering he's not obese.
Apparently he starves himself before each challenge, he also has to do sessions in gyms when he's on the Road to keep the weight off.

It get's me that after he's struggled to eat all the stodge, he still finds the energy to jump up and down screaming and high fiving afterwards.

I'd just lie there groaning.

His movement was fantastic over the weekend. Kind of the way Bent would move, not something Gabby could pull off

He looks like our best bet for a goal at the minute. Must play.

Well I hope him and Gabby were watching Moses wonder through and forcing several Manure defenders to fall on their arses.
