Think I'd go for Given, although Cuellar has been good the few times he's played.

Herd has done much better than I thought he would in the first team and could be worth the young player award.

I think we need to make sure Petrov gets it. He was playing well anyway, and the fact that he has a long road ahead of him and this could be the last season he'll play for our club. He deserves it.

Yes, completely sentimental. That aside.. Ireland has been a revelation. And Herd has been sensational.

Current goings on aside, I think he has been consistently our best player, despite being written off last season

For me petrov was the best player in the first half of the season with ireland taking the second. On this alone and for sentimental reasons id give it to stan. Its a shame he will probably win it on the sentimental vote because were he not ill i think he probably would have won it on footballing reasons alone and im sure that would have meant more to him. As an aside I heard he is starting his chemo today so good luck stan.

Young player of the year herd without a shadow of a doubt

There's not an awful amount of choice is there?  It'd have to be Petrov, as the entire defence has been mostly awful, and we've hardly scored any goals.

This is a tough one, mainly because of the injuries to key players that could have got it were they fit all season.

I think Petrov is a decent shout though all things considered. Keane would be a close second, more class in 6 games than the rest in 36.

Our goalscoring midfielder Petrov.

YPOTY - tough choice, will be either Herd or Wiemann.

Ireland or Petrov, with Weimann or Herd nabbing the young player of the season award.

He has made some very good saves but nothing i would  not of expected rom any top flight pre keeper to be honest - in fact 2 of the goals at Arsenal were piss poor by him

I would actually go for Warnock - has had some shocking games and had had the crowd on his back almost all year - but ability aside he has never gave less than everything for the cause when it could easily have been that he sulked off into a corner - so fair fucks to him

Warnock !    i think you might be in the lonely corner there mate

I don't think Weimann has played enough games to warrant it.  Herd is an automatic TPOTY choice for me.

According to the 'opta player perfomance' stat thing you can find in match-day programmes, Warnock is our best player this season by far.

Petrov for me.

As an aside, I had the pleasure of presenting Ireland with the Lions clubs Player of the Month yesterday.

You give them the magnum of champagne, they sign it and give it back to you to keep.

What was he like at the presentation, did it appear to mean something to him?
