He can do, or say, no wrong.

Nothing to see here.

Blind faith - easter bug got you or all the talk of Liverpool fans supporting Dalgleish
#acceptance

I really have no idea what you're trying to say.

The commentator on MOTD sounded like he badly wanted a Liverpool equaliser.

I could'nt see Pinnochio talking up Villa so much in the corresponding fixture.

BLs approach disappointed me yday, an opportunity to do missionary work in the Irish Republic, and he just constantly talked up Lplop.

Still a Villa great, but learn a lesson Brian

Did anyone hear his commentary on Setanta? He was so far up Liverpools arse he could have cleaned KKKennys teeth from the inside.
Then he goes and gives MoM to the racist who has been booked for diving and has spent most of the game swearing at the ref.
He has lost a bit of his hero worship status.

Agreed, I thought he was terrible yesterday. Muted the bastard.

I didn't hear it, but this is the first time I have ever heard any criticism of our most loved living legend  so I guess he must be guilty of saying something out of turn.

Maybe we should send a couple of H & V heavies round. You dont need to rough him up or anything, just put him right on a couple of things.

Nothing wrong with our Brian that a quiet word and a bottle of Grecian 2000 cant sort.

He's paid to do a job. The man bleeds claret and blue so it would have killed him more to talk about them than us having to hear it. Talking about Liverpool plays to their target audience.

He didn't pick the MOM. He's told what to say, and like any paid employee does his job...

Brian Little is still the ONLY true God to pull on a Villa shirt...

That's how I see it. presumably the broadcasters know their audience and presenters/summarisers are briefed to that effect.

The commentator on MOTD sounded like he badly wanted a Liverpool equaliser.
So did 'Franksy' on WM.
He and the co-commentator were on the vinegar strokes every time it looked like Liverpool might score.

He also came out with a classic Alan Partridge moment
'I see Cody McDonald has just scored for Peterborough, interesting name that, sounds like something from the Old wild west.'

I might have imagined it, but didn't he say early on he hoped  he didn't come across to biased about Villa.

That's it. The great man was trying to be even-handed and over compensated a smidgen.

It's the only possible explanation for what I'm hearing.

Yes only one cap when apparently  players that got into the England squad managed to not qualify for 1974 and 1978  world cup finals. That says it all about the England selection policy.
