Training Day Experience at Bodymoor Tuesday 17th April
« on: April 02, 2012, 06:53:57 PM »
Hi all,

I won one of the training day experiences on Genting who sponsor
Villa a couple of weeks ago.
I got confirmation a couple of days ago that this will be on the 17th of April.

For those that don't know what it includes here is a short summary :-

Half a day at Bodymoor Training ground.
Meet a player.
Signed shirt.
Lunch and a tour of Bodymoor Training Ground.
Watch the players train.
Possibility of photos and autographs of players after training.

As i am in Scotland and i can't get time off work i won't be going.
Genting have said i can transfer this day out to a Villa fan all i need
to do is send the persons name and they will be able to send them
confirmation that i have transferred it over.

As there is obviously a trust issue as i am a new poster i would be more
than happy to transfer the package to a trusted member first and have Genting
confirm to them by e-mail that they now own the package so that noone
is stiffed for any money.

Any questions about the day out or if anyone wants me to send them
the itinerary for the day please feel free to pm ty.

That's fine. It suits my requirements if it gets transferred.

It was supposed to be, but I've just had it confirmed that it is for over 18s only and just for one person, no exceptions. It will go to one of the parents instead. The whole family are Villa mad and the Dad will be thrilled to bits.

Not having much luck here. The parent in question is unable to make it. Plan B beckons.

If we are to believe the song lyrics imploring that "Luck be a lady tonight", then we must conclude that "lady" is a mega-biiyyyyatch with a 24" strap-on.

Not having much luck here.

Ha! Plan B worked nicely, though. Very happy Villa fan. Parent of one of the Y4 kids.

Now credit where credit is due to the club. At the last minute, the child's Mom could not make it so his Dad went instead. Mom is a massive Villa fan and was gutted as she is currently suffering with severe sciatica. Dad came into work this afternoon on such a high and could not be more full of glowing praise for the club, the players and the organisers. It was a superb day. He was beaming.

Great, thanks Legion for this ray of sunshine in a sea of heavy mist.  I expected this to end in another Villa-battering outburst.

I expected nothing less. Off the field our club seem to do an awful lot right.
