Pre-Season Friendlies 2012

Burton Albion will host Aston Villa at the Pirelli Stadium in the first pre-season friendly of the 2012/13 campaign.

The match will be the first meeting between the two sides since the Darren Stride Testimonial at Eton Park in March 2003.

Albion commercial director Fleur Robinson said: "We are delighted to be able to announce this match as a great way to kick off our pre-season.

"We look forward to hosting Aston Villa and we are sure that this game will prove a popular attraction for Burton Albion supporters."

The game will be played on Saturday, July 14 and kick-off is at 3.00pm.

Burton Albion [a] - Saturday July 14
Philadelphia Union [a] - Wednesday July 18
Chicago Fire [a] - Saturday July 21
Portland Timbers [a] - Tuesday July 24
Peterborough [a] - Wednesday August 1
Nottingham Forest [a] - Saturday August 4
Werder Bremen [a] - Saturday August 11

I'm a bit bored of Walsall pre-season now. Burton though is nice start.
