Great, Emile to start every game until end of season. I can see us getting dragged back into the shit.

I have to wonder if McLeish would have played him anyway.

The sad thing is that it is only a loss because it means Heskey will play much more. Had Bent been fit, and Gabby shifted to play on the wing I doubt we would miss Charles N'visible

Given, Lichaj, Collins, Cuellar, Warnock, Petrov, Herd, Ireland, Albrighton, Agbonlahor, Wiemann (or Heskey).  Against Chelsea, Liverpool, Stoke & Man Utd.  Oh dear oh dear oh dear.

I think Lichaj will be ok and Weimann has to start ahead of Heskey.

The plus side of this, is that we will get to see what a few more of the youth are like?.  Maybe not if he plays Heskey obviously, but there is no reason why he should pick him in front of Weimann.

One of the points with McLeish that has really annoyed me this year and he has said it again today, is that we have hardly any experienced players at the moment.  Is that a massive problem Alex?  How many more times will you have to watch Hutton, Dunne, Collins, Warnock, Heskey etc play badly before you realise that they need to be moved on?.   So great, let's now have a look at Lichaj and Gardner and Weimann and maybe even Carruthers and see what they are made of.

If we had everyone fit then McLeish would give these games up anyway.   So what have we got to lose and you never know, we may find that these lads can cut it in the Premier League?.

McLeish is reminding me more and more of O'Leary with each passing press conference !!!!

Like DOL he wants to talk the team down to hide his own uselessness ..of course when his sub worked against Fulham he was quick to point out something he did right.

I throught he seemed like a good guy if a poor manager when he took over ,now I think he is a grade A cock

I said it at the time and I will repeat again.   We won that game in spite of his substitutions and not because of them.   At the risk of appearing a bit like Briatore in that documentary the other week, in my opinion he should have had Gardner on for Petrov after 60 mins and Weimann on at the same point.   Maybe if he had done that, we may have scored slightly earlier and maybe even have scored another goal?.   Hang on, maybe not !!!

I'm like you, I think he is a decent guy, but he has totally lost me as a manager over the past few months and I want him out.  Don't think it's going to happen somehow !!!

Don't worry,he can switch Albrighton to the left and play Hutton as a right winger,he played so well at Spurs in that position....

We've really got to start playing Bannan on that left hand side.

Agreed. Worth giving Bannan a shot in the wide position.
