Not only have we not scored from a corner this season, we've also conceded more from corners than any other team. Absolutely Pathetic.

I was not happy when McLeish became manager but the one positive I did say was ' at least he will make it hard for teams to score against us , how ever boring and negative we will become'

Statistically speaking teams average between 5 and 6 corners per game and score from a corner only about 1 game in 10.
On that basis we should have scored about 3 or 4 instead of the pathetic zero.
By the same token we should of course only have conceded 3 or 4. Does anybody have the statistic for how many we have conceded ?

Of course, these are only statistics but we really are shit arent we ?

So we have scored the least well, nothing, and we have conceded the most.

And we haven't scored from a header in the league? All season.

Just can't believe it . Especially as we also have the third worst record for on target shots (109) above only Swansea and Stoke. Blimey. Talk about hit n' hope. How many have we scored from free kicks? You got that one?

These stats are almost as bad as us only having 28% possession yesterday. And according to the Telegraph NO shots on target and one off. Scratching me 'ead here wondering what they do all week.

This is one of the things I don't get about McLeish.

His SHA team scored loads from corners and set pieces, Ridgewell used to get 5 a season, running infront of the keeper and nodding it in.

When you have a team that struggles to create from open play, you prioritize set pieces. SHA did, Stoke unashamedly do it and I'd like us to do it as at least we might score a goal or two then.

The delivery has been shite all season, have we no one who can whip in a decent corner in the team? And I don't understand why we persist with floating the ball towards the back post, it dosen't work!!

It is not as though we are three games into the season is it? The stats actually mean something. Do something about it.

McLeish is just thick .   He has to be .  He is doing his best to turn his own fans against him.

Never played to Bent's strength , played Ireland on the wing , albrighton on the wrong wing , leaves Petrov on when hes fucked , buys Hutton for 4 million , takes Jenas on loan , fooks off Makoun and plays Heskey .

Thats just the start , as well as making out we are a bloody small club , while never taking responsibility himself  .

Cant disagree with this, except for possibly Hutton as think he may end up ok

I think if we stick with Emile up front we could manage to not score anymore for the rest of the season.

We probably won't score a goal again at all.

Following the shock of last night when Villa actually scored from a corner, when exactly was the last time ?

I was hearing that there had been somewhere over 300 corners since we last scored. Is that correct ?
