Yes, Torres is technically fantastic and links the play better than Bent, he just needs to get away from that freak show of a club, Bents a great striker, Torres is a world class striker.

This!

Torres well be a great striker again just probably not at Stamford Bridge.

If he can't resuscitate his career at Chelsea, how's he going to do it with us, when most of the time he'll be in a different post code to the ball?

Show's how far Torres has fallen that so many would pick Bent. Three years ago Torres was amongst the best strikers in the world.

I don't think we'll see the best of him in England again.  He'll probably end up back at Atletico Madrid and rediscover his form for a couple of years before he starts getting a bit old.

In a way it's sad, but this is surely the most likely outcome.

Torres is the parrot in the classic Month Python sketch. He is no more he is finished he is no longer a functioning footballer he is the dead parrot!
However I would swap him for Emile!

I'd definitely go for Nando. Darren prefers KFC anyway.

Torres and class appear temporary, Bent and form seems to be permanant. Bent every time.

Yes.

I was thinking the same watching the match the day i see Bent score from outside the area will be the day i pull a supermodel, i'd snap up soon to be out of contract Drogba for a year also.

No ta. I agree Torres used to be a great striker. So did Jimmy Greaves. I wouldn't swap Greaves for Bent either.

Well, maybe that Greaves that was in our European Cup side.

Yes from me.

Even when his confidence is rock bottom I think Torres links play better than Bent.  If you took him out of Chelsea then I think he'd feel less pressure and would start enjoying himself again.  Then the goals would come follow.

Torres is a bit more than out of form. Or it's a long run of bad form. 14 club goals since the start of the 10/11 season. Gabby has 11 in that despite playing on the wing most of the time, having injury problems and playing for us who i'd imagine create a lot less chances than either Racist FC or Plastic FC.
