Back in Black
« on: March 10, 2012, 10:11:38 PM »
AC/DC's Hell's Bells?! At last a decent anthem with some credibility for Villa to enter to. I'm still wondering if it was just played as a tribute to Eamonn Deacy, and am fully expecting to go back to the usual dross that's normally on offer. However, part of me hopes that the powers that be have actually taken on board some of the comments made about music played at VP and have acted accordingly. We'll find out next week, I suppose.

Of course it was! Realised my mistake and just gone back to correct it. I made the Eamonn Deacy link in my mind and fooled myself into thinking it was Back in Black.

Anything by AC/DC is OK by me - However I think highway to hell may be more appropriate at the moment

No fan of this genre at all ,but surely it must be something by Black Sabbath? Iommi is a Villa nut and Ozzy grew up in Lodge Road, off Trinity Road. How about Never Say Die.
Personally it would be the theme to Valley of Gwangi for me.

Might be a lucky song for us... keep it for Bolton I reckon.

It was an improvement.

I'd love some Sabbath for the historical connection, but "Hells Bells" is welcome back if only because we won!

Is the new entrance music at the Molineux "Down, down, deeper and down"?

I can't stand AC/DC! I still think the players should come out to Riders in the Sky.

This will be the thread that tempts Andy-S out of his H&V exile/ban. I'd prefer Back To Black though.

You know they played Teenage Wasteland as the ressies came out onto the pitch last Monday before the 4-0 win over Newcastle. Ironic really, considering it was one of the finest footballing displays from a bunch of young lads you're ever likely to see.

New Tunnel Song - AC/DC Hell Bells
« Reply #12 on: March 12, 2012, 09:25:56 PM »
For anyone not at Fulham on Saturday, we have replace the bell rings for the claret and Blue with AC/DC's Hell Bells for our tunnel entrance song

Was it replaced for the Man City game or was Fulham the first time it was used.
