Newton Heath's away support always appears to be made up of Mancs with a few GH's but it seems to be the opposite way round at Old Trafford.

And I can't see how moving visiting fans away further away from the pitch is going to improve the atmosphere either, I prefer the away fans to be as audible as they can, when games are dull it's the only thing to provoke sleepy home support.

Real Mancs support City.

Rubbish.

Only one football team in Manchester - City.

And on what do you base this theory?

I base it on fact.

Are you a very bad troll, or are you genuinely this stupid?

Someone who goes to King Edwards 6th Form I would hope could not be terminally stupid so I'll suggest it's the worst trolling in the history of the internet.

Heaven forbid but I think he is correct about there only being 1 football (league) team in Manchester - I think Utd are located in the City of Salford.

Trafford borough I think. Not Manchester anyway.

He is right. I know a City fan who regularly (boringly) labours that point.

Yep, Trafford Borough for Man United, not Salford.

Although the nonsense about "real mancs" only supporting Man City is a convenient myth which is generally laughed off by the 50% of "real" mancunians who support Man United.

Maybe Citeh fans live in the same mythical world that the noses do with regards to Villa having no fans in B'ham etc...
They've told themselves it so many times that they actually believe it. Unfortunately for them nobody else does.

they're not real mancs though. Man United have them bussed in from satellite towns in Lancashire and Cheshire to fool the tourists

Is football trying to commit suicide?

The atmosphere at football grounds has been deteriorating for years and putting aways fans as far away from the pitch may give an advantage on the pitch but it kills any chance of enjoying the match for the away support who will eventually give up.
