I demand the Bilbao manager . Hes a nutter but I love the football and I can start enjoying Villa again ....

My favourite manager working at the moment. If we sign him, I'd go mental with joy.

Have you read this (and the various comments and anecdotes below the article).

The guy sounds awesome but I fear he would be a disaster at Villa.  I just do not think the players or the fans would allow him enough time to develop his ideas.

It puts to bed the notion that Villa couldn't attract a top European Coach.

No wonder David Moyes won't leave Everton for the likes of Villa.

In my view he'd be a Summer Appointment Guy. You'd need to allow him to sell everyone who can't do his football, because his football is better than our rubbish players.

He is on a salary 100 times average villa fan, at least he does get a win bonus very often!

Now this is how we should be playing

Quote
Bielsa insists on a more creative, more intense approach, in which winning back possession must be done rapidly – and high up the pitch. He talks of the value in squeezing the game into a 25-metre area.

Bielsa's teams have all played exciting stuff, I can't remember his preferred formation but it is hugely attacking. It would be great to watch.

It's this mental 3-3-1-3, where his wingers play as high up the pitch as wingers did in the 50s. Come to think of it, his centre backs pretty much play as high up the pitch as wingers did in the 50s.

My favourite image of Bielsa is one where he's watching a Chile World Cup qualifying match, crouching low to the ground with a big polysterene cup of pure espresso (later confirmed), just staring. Life would be fun with him around.

the board would never go for someone leftfield like Bielsa .  What a shame.

Even when villa and McLeish do eventually part company, we'll not be fully shot of him...

Doesn't have Premier League experience, of course. Madness that, under our board's current stipulations for the job, Terry Connor qualifies ahead of Marcelo Bielsa.

Kind of ironic that Moyes was saying that everyone in football should take a 20% pay cut and then a week later we read he's arguably the best paid coach of all the also ran teams.
