I've also still got my Villa mirror that must have been from between 1977 and 1980 as it has the last league title as 1910 but does have the '77 LC win on it.
Not taking that down the ground though!

I bet there aren't many left who could get the whole bog roll to unravel. Out of a train window was easy; one finger in each side and away it goes. From one end of The Special to the other.

Nowadays the bog roll dispensers on the Pendelinos make it impossible; you have to do it sheet by sheet.

Never been easy having a sheet on a train as there is always someone trying the door. Just can't concentrate.

Air horns. Imagine newer fans jumping out of their skins with one of those going off behind them.

It would be great if the next televised game we see The Holte End full of inflatable bananas, skeletons, hammers etc etc

My faourite is the Shea Butter Andrex. Been on offer at Sainsbury's lately. Very soothing upon the bum.

Oh, wait...

Swazi Ismay's matchday programme column...
pies from the mid 1980's (brand that had the claret and blue packaging)
stadium open days. i still remember meeting the 1988 promotion squad and got home, in awe of having met the likes of Graham Taylor, Alan McInally, Nigel Spink, Steve Hunt, Martin Keown and...Mark Lillis. Even met Doug Ellis in the trophy room and asked him why he had sacked Graham Turner, just for a laugh.

The tram back to the station was derailed on the way back. Great trip. Totally pissed.
I was only 19 at the time. Fucking hell!
