Let's bring the good old days back to Villa Park...
A bit of 60s and 70s music booming out before the match might help. You could close your eyes and imagine the aroma of Ansells Brewery. Heaven.

After a few pints of Ansells Mild that bog roll was worth its weight in gold.

And we could have The Doc hanging the shirts out. At least watching them dry would be a lot more interesting than some of the shite we've had to endure this season.

Does anyone still take a Bog Roll down the Villa to throw when we score? ....
That sad bog roll be taking the jouney back home way too many times.

I can imagine the jokes about the sad fans on the return train clutching their bog roll of hope  :'(

Queuing all night for big game tickets. And the special buses from Bull St. to the ground.

Andy Lochead with the ball at his feet and defenders bouncing off him like ping pong balls. *Happy Memories Thingy*

If I see anybody bringing a bog roll into the Holte i'll be doing the sensible thing and making a citizens arrest, we all saw what the dangers of throwing a toilet roll onto the pitch did to the big black Dida, what such a weapon could do to wee Barry is'nt worth thinking about!

Prehaps one for the Brigada thread, The lads could try re-creating the :
Turn a mate upside down, & get him to point his legs in the air,
Thus making a big V shape,

O how we chased the loose change that spilled from the usually p****d up chap,

wonder how the stewards would cope with that today ?

No , actually prehaps one for the banning order thread

When the Brigada did some confetti at Brammall Lane somebody on VT complained about the mess it could create and threatened violence if repeated at Villa Park.

I was told that the bloke who owned it had a nervous breakdown, digital downloading exploded and he didn't know how to handle it.

And while we're at it, is it time for the fake silk scarves to make a return? You know the ones we used to tie round our wrists.
I've still got a few of those somewhere and a yellow and blue away scarf.

I've still got a '75 cup final silk scarf somewhere that my dad got me.
And some very battered rosettes from the 70s as well.

I still occasionally wear my 1980-81 season white with claret and blue trim and "Aston Villa" in shadowed letters

My lads chequered one looks better unfortunately
