Who will Randy appoint next?
« on: March 04, 2012, 07:39:12 PM »
Nobody in a rain of pig's puddings would have said after MON walked that our next two managers would GH and AM.  You would have been laughed out of the bookies if you tried that as a double bet.

So when the time comes who will he go for next? Not who you think is available or would be your choice, but who RL will pick!

Some leftfield thinking required!

What if this whole Alex Mcleish debacle was just a ploy to soften up the Villa fans for Shteve Mclaren?  Though I guess he performance at Forest must have put even Randy off.

We wouldn't be in this mess if they'd listened to me in the summer and appointed eddie hitler

TonyD: I'm going to be the eternal optimist here and say......Yes, Mr Flores and I base that on the basic principle in any walk of life, if you are going to offer someone a job and the candidate for the position not only is qualified but goes on record saying " I want to work for you" "I want to be the boss at Villa park", then you've not only got a manager you've got the cream on the cake as well.

How often do you here a manager come out and say I want to manage that team, not very often, watch how things develop for the Chelsea job, regardless of who the chairman takes on, see who actually stands up and says "I want the job", for me when someone has the stones to say that and they have the credentials you go and get them.

Mourinho or Pep Guardiola clearly.  Given the ambition levels at Villa Park.

Seriously, other than Steve Keen, there isn't another Premier League Manager who I wouldn't swap McLeish for.

Now that would be immense, Warnock fucks up and he'd get twatted with a frying pan, Richard Richard as our 1st team coach, Spudgun as physio, Hedgehog can take Faulkners job.

Would love it if he did the swing the way towards reason and sign Flores.  But I think it more likely to be Bruce Arena or Barry Fry.
