Stoke at home - now 5.30pm kick off ?
« on: March 02, 2012, 08:56:21 PM »
Just looked at the OS - now showing this as 5.30pm kick off !? (Apologies if this has already been mentioned)

I wondered if this was for ESPN , but having looked on Stoke Oatcake site

"The Premier League have also confirmed that the kick-off time of City's visit to Aston Villa has been moved to 5.30pm on Easter Monday.

This is due to the fact that the Potters will be kicking off their Staffordshire derby against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Britannia Stadium exactly 48 hours earlier after it was selected for live broadcast by ESPN."

Bloody marvellous !! 5.30 on easter monday - another game moved and we are not even on the telly getting compensated for it !

Another nail in the coffin for reasons to buy a season ticket

The festival of football on show will be enough to numb the pain, Brian - no doubt !

Stoke at home has never looked good!  Last season's was particularly dismal.

I didn't mean the team, just made watching my team an appealing alternative to doing nothing much on a monday.

I thought the tradition of playing two games over the Easter weekend had gone the way of the dodo and white dog doodoo.

I don't like it when they move games around like that but that's football nowadays for you.

I'm due in Birmingham at 0945. So much more time for drinking. Not that I need to be numbed by alcohol to enjoy the spectacle that will be Villa v Stoke.

The tv bosses can't be cruel enough to inflict this game on the nation can they. The blokes will be dragging their wives down the shops to avoid having to watch it.
