I will be sad to see him go back to Galaxy his goals against Wolves could be crucial come the end of the season.

It was Gregory who said he wasn't worth the extra.
I still think he's a penny pinching, tight fisted miser.

Yep, let's not let the facts get in the way of a bit of Doug bashing

Who was heavily influenced by Siralex who said something like he wouldn't pay 600 grand for Keane let alone 6 million which was the price at the time.

Please note that until the other day I was convinced for years that it was Sir HDE OBE that refused the additional expenditure.

I think we'll do better without him. With Ireland in his position and Agbonlahor up front we were showing the green roots of recovery. Since Keane has arrived however it's all gone to shit. Wolves was a blip. I like  him as a player, but he stifled us. I expect more goals and wins with SI and GA back in the team.

Christ, has to come to hoping we'll finish three points clear of relegation? Robbie did great for us and hopefully (though I doubt it) his pro-active attitude to trying to create chances and moving for the ball will rub off one or two of our numpties.
But we managed to beat Chelsea without Keane and Bent(ish), that has got to be the blueprint for our remaining away games. Hopefully they'll gain enough confidence from that to take the game to opposition at VP.

Except Petrov's goals earlier this season were equally fine strikes from range.

And Gabby's goals at home to Wigan and Blackburn were boss too.

Yes, Fergie put Gregory off paying the asking price for Keane, and also recommended AM. He must really hate us.

I never get why managers seek the opinion of other managers in the same division. Surely there's a conflict of interest?

Wasn't his old man a semi-nose?

Mmmm... Bent set up 1 and scored the another in that game, which hard as Gabby worked, he looked more threatening in 20 minutes than Gabby had in 70. Gabby is great, and will score a few over a season, but this odd theory that he is a better striker than Bent is staggering at the moment. Look at the record of the two of them over the last x number of years in the league. Bent is a class goalscorer that we have not played to the strenghts of at all this season.

Hopefully Ireland, Albrighton, NZogbia and Gabby all on the pitch will create enough between them to nick a few goals. Starting today.

Just had a feeling those world class strikes against wolves would be the defining moment in keeping us up!
Told you all so folks.   8)
