What Mr Archie Hunter of the 1887 FA Cup side would have thought of yesterday's capitulation in Villa's latest journey to bring the CUp back to Birmingham after a 70 year absence, I dare to think.  It might be 2087 by the time the Cup is ever held aloft by a Villa Captain the way things are going.

I agree he shouldnt have made a change AT half time but I think he should have made changes EARLIER in the 2nd half when our midfielders were outnumbered and the defence was doing its usual slapstick.

The only answer is for one of the stiffs to be converted into a defensive midfielder that sits infront of the back four until the end of the season OR buy one and quick. We have plenty of options in midfield and upfront and a blinding goal keeper - its just the back four that keeps dragging us down.

The television coverage couldnt have been more biased towards the Londoners if it had been broadcast from Wenger's Kitchen. The only thing that was missing was a AFC-tv logo in the top right hand corner.

That sneaky elbow by Van Persie on our resident Spaniard and his antics after Hutton sent off in the earlier league game means the Contempt-o-meter for Arsenal and their Captain has smoke coming out of it now and is starting to melt.

Let us concentrate on the league now as the battle of 12th to 17th hots up as our away form looks good while our home form where we have won 3 out of 11 tells its own story.
