@Cuellar24 Villa related? Gutted you'll probably be leaving in the summer. You're the best defender at the club and a proper great guy.

It's not exactly a surprise is it?

No, not at all.  But to hear him say it like that is a damn shame. Seems/sounds/reads very unhappy.

He'd be in my team like a shot.  Don't care whether in front of Hutton or Collins, he should be in.

I saw a couple of weeks back that he's likely to go to Villareal or Espanyol before the month's out. Rather have him than Collins tbh, do you think those clubs would notice if we sent them Collins instead?  ;) I can only wish King Carlos the very best of luck.

Espanyol hopefully.. Soft spot for them. Villarreal are stuck in a relegation battle too.

Selfishly, I'd love him to stay and start games in the middle of our defence. As it is though, it'll never happen. I hope he gets the move he wants.

Will get a bit of cash at least for him.

Good luck Carlos back home!

I'd be sad to see him go, even sadder that he's going and lesser centre halves are staying with guaranteed starting places.

I hope that the 'one in one out' comment from the summer still holds true and that this would free up funds for a new player, preferably a left back.

Like many on here never quite understood why he hasnt been given more game time, the fact that Dunne and Collins are big mates probably has something to do with it.

Remember when he was our best player in a victory over Wolves.  Houllier's 2nd or 3rd game.  The very next match he was dropped.  He certainly has not had luck on his side.

I am more concerned that you reveal his thoughts. Is that the right thing to do?

Good player. Good person. Should be part of Villa. Bad decisions all round for him. One of the old/but modern school who should bring us on with the youngsters. Would hate to lose him.

Indeed. If you follow him on Twitter then it all plays out before your eyes.
