Ticket prices for the next home match with QPR have now been reduced throughout the stadium - as a thank-you for the loyal support of the claret and blue .
.

Supporters who has already purchased for the QPR fixture will be contacted shortly to discuss refund policy.

Wonder if the refund includes season card holders.

Anybody heard any more about this?

I can really see there being a 25-27K gate for this!

I agree.   Added on to all other things,  The weather forecast is for it to be cold, very cold.

As season tickets holders we haven't heard anything about the refund policy.

The refund policy is for fans who brought tickets before all prices were dropped. It isnt for season ticket holders.

Someone I know is a season ticket holder and had put their seat on viagogo for the QPR match before this announcement. It is still listed there, for 40 quid.

What chance do they have of selling it when the club have made it 25 quid to sit anywhere you like in the ground?

Another reason not to renew then.  Ridiculous.  I think a letter to the powers that be is in order.

I try to be positive about everything Villa but this just takes the biscuit.

Unfortunately, another example of season ticket holders seemingly being treated as not as important and the pay per game fan.

But with a season ticket it has only cost us a further £30 to go as a family of 4 which is excellent value

To be honest, I can see it from both sides.

They're doing what they can to get people into the ground, but have to balance it against pissing off their most loyal customers (who at some games this season I reckon have constituted about 80 percent of the paying custom).

It's never really black or white with this sort of thing.

I'm almost certain not to renew mine next season. My Mrs is getting made redundant and my income is volatile. It's not about "definitely can't afford it", I could find the money from somewhere. The difference is that now it means making sacrifices elsewhere, so I've got to be sure what I am getting is worth the other sacrifices, and I honestly doubt it will be.

That's the kind of situation the club are going to find with a lot of punters next season, I think.

I appreciate circumstances are different, but for us we are four season ticket holders and do not have any body else interested in attending games (one of our season tickets has been available all season and we've only managed to shift if half a dozen times).

No advantage here for us.

Never mind.
