New Kit Deal ?
« on: January 14, 2012, 10:18:07 AM »
Looks like we're ready to dump Nike, maybe not a bad idea,as i don't think we're too high up on their list of priorities.

Ah, the preferred kit thread version 173!

Adidas for me every time - retro 70s home kit with a modern twist, claret and blue piping de rigeur on the shorts please

White away from home but with the blue socks - claret and blue piping on the shirt and shorts, would look dead smart as done by Adidas I think and again with a modern but retro combo

Plus the old badge of course, much in the same way as Chelsea have done

We're ready to dump Nike or vice versa? An executive at Nike was probably checking the finances and said "Aston who????". "They're in the EPL" and junior replies. "No they're not. The EPL consists of Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea - that's it! There is no other English football club. Get rid!".

Macron will be the new supplier apparently, so colour wise look at West Ham's shirts. The club have dumped Nike over quality issues, again apparently.

Pretty sure there's already a thread about this.

To add, I think the kit is the least of our problems and can't really see why so many give a shit unles you're a chav into wearing sports gear.

Although I'd love to see it, I can't imagine they'd change the badge again.  Don't we always alternate the away strip colour year on year?  Wouldn't mind seeing it black again next year.
