Get well soon Shaun.

Whenever I think of him I always think of the header and penalty against Tranmere.

Teale was a beast and gave everything, every game. Only a few defenders are privileged enough to be carved from granite, and he was the perfect partner for the great man next to him. Good luck Shaun with the rehab.

Get well soon Shaun.

Whenever I think of him I always think of the header and penalty against Tranmere.

I seem to remember him doing the same in his own net against Forest though. Still... we won 3-1! Top guy. The only Villa player to appear on the Big Breakast.

Good luck and get well soon.

Absolutely.

Do you know if that's a problem stemming from his playing days or something else?

Don't know, but players are liable to such problems.

That's what I thought, especially with the way he played and the length of his career. Hope he's OK.

Going off at a slight tangent I read tonight that footballers are 1,000 times more likely to suffer from osteoporosis than any other occupation. That's something to remember when we complain about their wages.
Sorry but no it is not,I would do what they did for nothing everyday of the week for free, for pretty much any risk.
Get well soon Shaun a man that the phrase run through brick walls was made for.

I never knew that.  Did it give the medical reason?  My assumption would be that a career of any athlete dedicated to weight-bearing exercise during your teens and twenties would build high bone density.
