Enda must have been rubbing his hands after seeing how well his competition for the left back slot played today.
Here's hoping that Enda hits the ground running.

I'm old enough to remember when we last took a punt on an Irish left back, he didn't play much (the team that season did quite well) but he was always reliable.

Quiz question for the youngsters on here - what was his name?

He played against Juventus didn't he when we were defending our European Cup win? I wasn't born at the time and can't remember his name... I have the right one don't I?

A bit off topic but I remember going to that game and seeing a forward line of Platini, Boniek & Rossi for them (I think). Hmm not bad...

I've seen him a couple of times and he's going to need a lot of working on to become a premiership defender. Let's hope he does it.

do you think that he should be given a run of games starting at bristol rovers to gain that spot, thereby letting warnock know he really has to improve his game

No. Warnock has generally been good this season and I think will get another chance to regain confidence. Given that Stevens wasn't first choice for shamrock rovers I don't see the point of taking the risk until he's had a few reserve games

Enda officially signed today I and he and Lichaj (out since September) were in training. Two full-backs to hopefully put rockets up the arses of Warnock and Hutton.

Fingers crossed but hutton seems to be his favourite so lichaj could be in for a long wait.

And playing well apparently.

The Killkenny goal machine Drennan with the goal. Suprised one of Fonz or Weimann aren't playing though.
Not that we're lacking quality forwards in the reserves and academy.

I heard the commentary and really enjoyed hearing the wind blowing as he talked on the phone, good days indeed.

when do people think he should be on subs bench, as surely warnock is going to be 1st choice left back till end of season. but at least warnock knows that if he messes up during a match he will get subbed
