Fantasy football
« on: December 31, 2011, 12:48:37 AM »
Apologies if this is in the wrong forum but it's one of those topics that I had no idea where to put it. Here, other football, off topic? It seemed to fit them all.

Anyway, do we have any other players? I've become quite addicted to it this season.

And as a heads up, anyone who plays on Fantasy Premier League, the next game week (GW 20) which starts on Jan 2nd also includes the rearranged Spuds v Everton game. So a chance to gain on those that don't realise as the game weeks are thick and fast this week so there is already another free transfer.

I do the fantasy premier league one too, 4th out of 25 in my works league and 4,200th in the Aston Villa fans league, which I think is better than it sounds.

I'm 2nd out of 12 in our mini league, but I didn't join until week 2 so everyone had a head start. I think it's why i'm so addicted this year, trying to win after missing that first week, especially as my best mate is top!

I had a dire last GW though and got knocked out the cup at the first attempt. For some reason I missed joining the Villa league, i'm 871,147 overall. I think a top 4 place might be out of reach!

If you run it next year i'll have a go in it!

Ours is on the talksport website! Hope the link works! Currently lying 27th from 49, after a really bad Steve Bruce type start where i was 3rd off bottom!

My shift partner is addicted to it, spends half his time browsing all the football websites making sure he knows who is on form, who is suspended, injured, makes all his transfers to maximise his points etc, etc.

I entered his league, practically picked my team at random, have done no transfers....I lead him by 56 points!

My H&V team however, less said the better!

I also do that one I'm 19th in my friends league and I'm 11,459 in the Aston Villa fans league.
