I'd much rather we pull together than be so negative towards the team. AM will not be getting the sack anytine soon, like it or not so, its best we try and get behind the team.

Im sorry but if McLeish continues to be negative then thats what your going to get from the fans. I think most fans except that weve lost good players that we cant replace with money that we dont have and the fact that we cant compete for the top 6 places.
But what we cant accept is not having a go and players hoofing the ball aimlessly up the pitch. I dont want to spend my every match day knowing were not going to compete. The fact that were on TV against Bristol rovers just shows where we are currently.
so after you put all the factors together like you have, it is going to do what to the remaining players to boo?? dont get it my self. i am with andy aston here big time!

Who said anything about booing? my reply was referring to to the post about fans being negative I dont boo at games, although the z idea was quite novel and maybe would be an acceptable view of demonstrating we wont accept McLeish anti football

Everyone bring a different letter, we can play Scrabble if it gets boring.

Or Countdown - 10,000 consonants please, 3,000 vowels, 2,000 consonants...

Why not use numbers, and try to come up with some kind of playing combinations/substitutions based on Sudoku?

Number round would be good.

We should unfurl a massive banner of Downing on crutches when he arrived to sign for us.
hows about taking £ signs and upsetting one of THEIR players and not one of ours!

Yep, I'm sure reminding Downing of how much more money he's earning now will really hurt his feelings.

Why don't we also hold up posters of his extremely attractive girlfriend to remind him who he's going to have sex with later that night?  That'll learn him.

Me too rutski.
I just can't fathom people out at times. They don't like the manager (haven't a problem with that) but to take it out on the team! It's got to have a detrimental effect.
It's a clear case of "Cutting your nose off to spite your face"

How's it going to have a detrimental effect on the team/performance?  We can't really get much worse unless they start purposely scoring own goals or laying on chances for the other team.

I think it's a great idea.

We should put Zs on balloons and chuck them on the pitch.

That would just look like the players were warming up though.

Reckon we are better off just supporting the team myself.
