It was a toss up between UnderArmour and Nike a few years ago, and the club went with Nike. Macron will b hard to get hold of unless you buy it through the club, as they dont supply any of the big sports stores

If we could get the 1980-81 shirt replicated to modern day then I'd be all up for switching back to Umbro. In fact it would probably be the only shirt any of us would need to buy...perhaps thats why they keep selling crap shirts because we'd never buy another one if they released a brilliant one! :D

Can't say that I'm fussed who makes it. As long as it doesn't tinker with the traditional components of a claret body and blue arms then it doesn't matter whose logo is on it.

There was - & maybe still is - a Macron dealer on Planetary Road, Wednesfield doing identi-kits, so we wouldn't have much og a problem.

Mat Kendick is talking of Nike deal being replaced by one with Macron, can't say I've ever heard of them, is that the Kumar brothers firm?

I haven't bought a Villa shirt in donkeys years but its seems to be slightly depressing that another of the bright shiny new Villa things is coming to an end. From Nike to Macron, from MON to McLeish, from spending 40m a season to free transfers.

Macron make shoddy looking.championship shirts.

I never buy them anyway, but this is another indication of us going in entirely the wrong direction

We will go to the highest bidder and if that is Macron, it will be. Not great but it is about the cash! Still the Qataris can can it when they take over!

Macron would be miles better for us than Nike. For one we might get kits on time, kits that aren't copied from the French division, goalkeeper kits, and a better training range.

To put it simply, we'll get a company that is AWARE of our existence. Nike clearly aren't. Couldn't care less about the prestige of the name. They've still treated us like shit.

Dear oh dear. From Nike to Makron, what a come down. Lerner's downgrading of the club continues.
