When's the next goal coming?

Three 'nils' in a row. Welcome to the brave attacking world of McLeish.

I actually reckon that if we don't manage to hit the back of the net against Bolton, we may well have to wait until the new year to celebrate the next goal.

We'll take the lead at Stoke, then lose to an injury time goal after a string of highly dubious decisions. As usual.

Goal of the month is taking on a different meaning for us these days.

We're not yet entering realms hitherto unknown since the drought of spring '92 but looking at the upocming fixtures we could very well be giving that goalshy spell a run for its money by the New Year.

I remember our last goal drought under BFR and the Holte End singing 'We'll score again, don't know where don't know when' to the famous Vera Lynn tune. I fear the song may get another outing.

Bolton - first half; follwed by floodgates.
As for Villa ...

No, I think it'll happen on Saturday - but then I have invested in a ticket for the game, so I'm trying to keep my enthusiasm up.
