If McLeish was sacked, who would you want in?
« on: December 03, 2011, 09:12:29 PM »
We, almost all, want him gone. But who do you want in? Or who would you expect in?

I'd take Mark Hughes in a flash. He's still a free agent, and I think one of the characteristics Lerner would consider this time round is £££. A lot of people mentioned Paul Lambert before we got Eck, and he's impressed me so far at Norwich. John Gregory was at the game today, I'd prefer him to McLeish now. :-\

I'd be amazed if he was sacked before Feb/March, and I think we'd have to be firmly in the shit for it to happen. Randy would lose a lot of face as well as the club would lose another chunk of cash if we sack him.

Hughes for sure. He's the perfect match for us. A manager who can work well on a budget, has a good Premier League record, delivers free flowing football and is fairly good in the transfer market.

We never had a better chance to get him in the summer. Seriously, it was unacceptable on so many levels that the board made this massive cock up. And you just know they'll do it again, again and again from now on.

Hughes would be the obvious choice. Does anyone know why we didn't go for him in the summer?

Something to do with Hughes walking away from Fulham or something. But they tapped McLeish up who did exactly the same to Blues. Bunch of hypocritial fairies. I think they may have a mental health problem. That's the only reasonable logical explanation that I could make a summary of them two useless prats.

Hughes. Took Fulham to 7th, would take us at least to there. Its frustrating because he's still available too. Sadly Randy won't sack McLeish. Admit the fans were right and he was wrong... heap big humble pie.

After GH and AM, the mind boggles as to who Lerner might pick next.  It might be worth a flutter on Barry Fry.

AM is a truly awful manager but RL has to take most of the credit for our current situation. He let MON have too much power, then appointed a man with serious health issues and then Agent Alex.

Dunno really. I'm torn between Sooty and Sweep as a joint management team, or Al Pacino cos he did a really good job in that film about The Saturdays or whatever it was...

Failing that, just draw a smiley face on a balloon and tie it up in the dressing room. It'll do the same job for a lot less money.
