So we should just give in and not go to the team we love and adore and have done through thick and thin? I wouldn't be able to go long.

Protests and banners do a lot.

I'd rather take back the game by beating Man Utd.

We can do both, hopefully erupting at the same time will get the ground bouncing for a lot longer.

Love the idea. Had already cancelled my Sky. Missing it but pi**ed off with them owning and running the game. Will try to do it....but if we score in the first 5 minutes I won't be able to remain silent! Fact!

Fuck off, Luke. It won't be organised by then but a silent, backs to the pitch response, would be the ideal protest.

The idea is good but I cant see it working. Cerainly not at when the players come out..i just dont believe the majority of the ground will not clap/cheer when they do. Especially against United!

BUT

what about doing it in the second half? Its more likely to work then ? Including when the teams come out?

If a screamer makes the Newton Heath bulge from 30 yards I'll eat my hat and everybody else's if everyone keeps schtum.

A far more effective tactic would be to pile into the ground 10 minutes late, masses of empty seats can't be ignored by the TV companies, even if they try and blame it on traffic, and the subsequent disruption all around the ground as thousands take their place while the game is in progress will also be picked up by the cameras.

Turn up between 55 and 70 minutes, then fuck off would be better but you will never coordinate that.

It needs flyers with a simple symbol on one side for people to hold up-  like the £ protest. Getting loads of these out to people as they go into the ground is the only way to get the word to enough people & get them on board.
I think the manu fans will be as up for it as us if they were included in the planning. They are the most ripped off fans in the league. They have more KOs moved, & they pay top whack for tickets everywhere they go.

I really think that this is not the way to go about it. If anything, this will just be detrimental to the team.

Banners and post/pre game protests? Sure. They send the message. But all that's gonna happen is that we're gonna look like shit fans. Sorry lads, but I'll be there and won't be taking part, it'll sure be interesting to see what happens though!

If we have picked the idea up from Wolves v Sunderlamd then chances are that other fans will too. If this goes national in the next 3 weeks we'll look more shit for not doing it!
