I'd be surprised if MON went back there, but if he does, good luck to him.

Good old Sven has got have made more money from failing than he has succeeding.Another million quid pay off and if he wants another job, he'll definitely get one.

I dont see him getting a top job and leicester with their finaances and only 2 points adrift of the top 4 would surely be a great chance to win promotion and enhance his reputation-either leicester or sunderland will get him i believe and i think he will be a success at either club, success to each of those would be establishing them in the top 10 of the premiership and he can do that and both have money to spend.

Obviously not a popular way of thinking on this site but i've got nothing against O'Neill. He brought a feel good factor back to the club which had been missing since Mr Little left, much better than the malaise we're experiencing under McLeish, and that's not a knock at McLeish.

I reckon Leicester didn't want to be shown up by Nottingham in the sacking a former England manager stakes.

You've gotta hope MON takes the gig.  Sort of full circle return and the potential for a hissy fit walk-out a year down the line would be high with that board. i don't think he will though. He's probably convinced himself he's a front runner for the Man U job or at least England

Now now greg, time to forgive , it will be a long time before we make the top 6 in a row for 3 yrs again.

only because it will be a long time or never that we get a manager with the spending power MON had.

Whether he goes back to Leicester remains to be seen but Martin's re-appearance as an ITV pundit shows he's ready to get back on the horse. I'm thinking Wolves, once you start offering fans out after a match only a matter of time before Mick McCarthy walks. Anyway off to Grags for a pasty.

More scope for success at leicester or sunderland , wolves look relegation bound and mon has emotional ties to leicester and sunderland.

Dont think he will go back , I think he will want a fresh club , probably waiting for Sunderland , now he's realised he aint going to be good enough for the Liverpools etc .
