Actually I don't know why they just don't call it "Man U being discussed on 5 Live for 90 minutes".

Substitute '5 Live' with 'BBC TV & Radio' & 'for 90 minutes' with 'until the end of days'.

And Liverpool, which I don't get. They haven't been good for over 20 years.

Pretty tame stuff really. It suggested that Randy's doing a sound job and cares about the club and its heritage. It said he rarely gives interviews. Pat Murphy likes him. But we knew all that already. Sid was very positive about him but this was mostly to do with his support of the 81/82 teams rather than anything he's done recently. The programme could have been made a year or more ago. It didn't address what many see as a lack of interest and involvement on Randy's part in recent months. No reference to the disappearance of the General and the poor communication between the board and the fans.

In the pre-historic age? Pre-nuptials? Pre-transgender surgery?

I heard it. As Frank says it was all a bit safe and bland but the more I hear Pat Murphy the more I dislike him. It was only a small point but he metioned the banner with the quote from the European Cup Final being on the Holte End several times. If he's going to put himself forward as the 5 live expert on us\midlands football get the names of the stands right FFS.

But they've had twice the amount of American owners as everyone else.

Wasn't that the Brian Moore quote which he attributed to a BBC commentator...

Didn't mention anything of this summers fun and games though.

Yeah he credited it to the old BBC reporter, forgotten his first name, someone Jones.
