Anyone remember a couple of years ago at Wigan away when one of their players wore a hideous pair of yellow boots and we sang to the tune of
"He's got bananas on his feet"

And it was deemed rascist by some????

How is that racist?

Yes, I remember that, quite a furore was made by the Wigan fans too.

In a fashion age of 'vintage', the black boot is well due a return and hopefully we will see it soon.

I remember as a young kid George Best's revolutionary...side lace up boots, available in white.  No self-respecting kid who knew how to kick a ball went anywhere near them, mainly because they couldn't afford them but really didn't want them as those who did and could afford them were crap at football.

Best - Stylo Matchmakers!  - http://www.footy-boots.com/vintage-football-boots-6437/

Stylo also did some boots where the front four studs revolved on some sort of plate to aid quicker turning - or have I just dreamt it????

In the words of Hugh Johns 'that will do for Alan Hinton' after scoring another cracker.

Once bought a pair of red nike '90' indoor football boots.  Turned up wearing them for a casual 5 a side.  Never again.

Adidas World Cup were/are the best boots, and God wore them so that's final.

Puma King always made players with big feet look like they were wearing clown shoes.

Asics boots for me. Don't know the model. This is unimportant though, when considering my Sondico keeper gloves.

Adidas Beckenbauer Supers (and the really flash bastards put red studs in them).  The duffers, who were always last to get picked when picking sides, always seemed to be wearing Winfield Wonders.
