I'm 40. I've experienced far worse than this. There are plenty of others who are older and have witnessed even worse.

There's a long way to go yet until we reach a nadir such as Billy McNeil's tenure or relegation to Division 3.

Sums it up perfectly.

THEY whoever they are said this Manager will create a team who are: " uninspring, play for a draw, defensively strong."
To mis quote Churchill and Tony D:

... it is not  the beginning of the end, but perhaps  the end of the beginning. - Long waited Victory at El Alamein.

Well, can we have a long awaited Victory? Sorry, I thought he could have 'till New Year. But very team he has managed has been the same. Maybe with decent players? Ruined the attacking rep we had.

Get rid of this defensive, coward.

And those that know - this is pretty strong for me.

Of course it's not the lowest point, but it feels pretty bloody disappointing all the same I have to say.  The sooner Lerner sells up and fucks off, the better.

It's football, you lose. It happens.

I don't think it's the fact that we lost. It's the manner in which we lost.

It wasn't that bad. Collins had a shot.

I took some workmates tonight that are from up north and lodging here-all Leeds and man u fans. For the first time in my life I was embarrassed by my football club. 22,000 fans, empty seats, a non existent atmosphere and the most turgid, insipid performance I can remember. 87mins before a shot on target? Dominated in every area of the pitch by an understrength Bolton. I had to apologise for wasting everyone's night. I can't believe our plan for getting the game back was to put Collins up front.

Just our manager thinking a long way outside of the box.

Which is where our strikers will be this season.

Houllier did similar on a couple of occasions last season.

Disappointing - hugely.  Lowest ebb - thankfully nowhere near.  Worried - teetering.

I didn't go, 50 mile round trip and it had the sniff of a bad night

This by no means the lowest point even in recent memory:

Moscow
Thumped by Chelsea for 7
Man City for 5

This is all the ups and downs of being a proper football fan of a proper football team.

If you can't handle the downs, go off and support Man Utd....

Come on you Lions!!

I dont think I have felt as down and depressed being an aston villa fan as I do tonight.

Don't you remember losing 3-0 to Doncaster a few years back? That was as bad as I've ever seen.

The words 'there's, light, no, end, the, of, the, at, tunnel' can be arranged into an apt sentence.

There is a light that never goes out.
