Spare seat in a car - QPR?
« on: September 19, 2011, 08:03:00 PM »
Sorry mods for posting this here but really need a hand!  I'm having an op on Friday which means I can't drive for a week.  I'm therefore in need of a lift to QPR if anyone has a spare seat - of course happy to chip in for fuel.  I live in Solihull so can hang around junc 4 of the M42 if anyone's passing.

Thanks a million for any offers - PM please for contact details.

Are you sure you want your phone number on here? You're not a loon, but some of the rest of them on here are gigantic mentalists.

Just a thought.

Bloody hell this is better than eHarmony.  Any raving mentalist with a spare seat will do me to be honest.

<Shameless bump>  At this rate I'll be walking to Shepherd's Bush.  Does anyone know of any coaches that may be passing the metropolitan borough of Solihull on Sunday?

Cheers

There's trains that run directly from Solihull to London you know.

Unfortunately dave, it's a train to leamington then a bus to Bicester then a train to marylebone on Sunday.  If Des has just had an operation those arrangements may not be suitable.

Then there's the tube to contend with.

I think London Midland do a cheap train on the Euston line that stops at Birmingham International. You'd have to get the 966 from Poplar Rd though. What time is the kick off? The earliest cheapo train would get you to Euston for 11:57.

Missed the bit about the op.
Apologies Des, that post probably sounded very facetious.

No worries - no offence taken honest!  Thanks for the tips, folks...much appreciated. I'll have a look at London Midland (or failing that Ring & Ride)
