0% Villa - Fergie breaks BBC ban
« on: August 25, 2011, 01:52:02 PM »
As reported on the BBC news at One...

Personally I hate the git for his success, but I lost a little bit of respect for the man. It takes an everlasting burning of hatred and revenge for his ban to last seven years. And yet it ends thanks to a few emails back and forth from the BBC.

Can't wait to hear from him on MOTD [/sarcasm]

I hope it won't take the BBC seven years before they decide to use subtitles when showing interviews with Kenny Dalglish. Does anybody understand a word the miserable cnut says?

I've no desire to see any more of the whiskey faced old piss-pot on my TV screen.

Whenever Newton Heath are on the telly the director is forever cutting away to show him sitting on the bench, and as for that short armed clappy goal celebration of his, lord give me strength.

What now for Mike Phelan? If anybody wanted to learn how to approach an interview with a straight bat, he was your man.

Don't mind Man Utd and I'd rather they win the league than any of the other 4 potential league winners.

I'd also much rather listen to Ferguson than most managers.

That sums up the sad state of affairs in football to a tee.

Ferguson starts to abide by the rules after seven years when he has got away with it unpunished. A microcosm of the way the big teams are favourably treated I reckon.

100% my thoughts exactly - he knows the media & FA needs him more than he does them

Until that balance is addressed he will continue to act selfishly and with impunity

I hope that they now don't ask to speak to him. Absolute tosser, doesn't deserve the opportunity to speak on the BBC if he behaved like a child for the last 7 seven years.

Regrettably the BBC, instead of simply giving him the same airtime as every other top flight manager, will now fawn all over him.  What odds on a Lifetime Achievement Award at this year's Sports Personality of the Year?

Through gritted teeth you would have to admit he deserves it

I don't mind them either, they've won that much in my football following years that I'm just immune to it now, and if they keep Citeh and Chelsea from winning the league then thats good enough for me.

I'd ban all managers from talking on MOTD if it was up to me.  Actually, I'd ban all talking, apart from the commentary.  Nothing controversial or remotely interesting has ever been said on that programme.  Funny how they hype up the Premier League and then the flagship highlights show is presented by the blandest man on the planet.  Lineker makes Steve Penk look charismatic.  His jokes are so bad they'd struggle to make it into a box of christmas crackers made by Joe Pasquale.  The "analysis" is so predictable I could write it myself.  The two Alans clearly can't be bothered any more, they might as well just put a Blackberry on loudspeaker next to Gary so they can phone it in from their conservatories.  Lawro is the last remaining person alive who uses the word "not" at the end of a sentence and thinks it's funny - as in "Wayne's World's a recent film - NOT!"  Get rid, that's what I say.  Cut the chat and show more action.  I can make up my own mind.  It makes me yearn for Elton Wellsby.  Or Jimmy Hill, on his tod, saying, "Great result for Everton, now we're off to Villa Park".  No nonsense, no ex-pro spongeing a massive wage to draw arrows on a freeze frame, just an hour of football.

As it is, we'll now have wall-to-wall brown-nosing over every word that comes out of Ferguson's embittered gob, they'll probably employ Savage to scurry around on all fours behind the kidney-shaped desk wiping Gary-drool off the studio floor with a tissue.  He'd do it too, the tart...

Yeah, but surely you must admire the way Gary Lineker can deliver a carefully scribbed ad-lib?  Worth every penny of the £2million a year forked out by the licence payer.
