Why do Brian Little keep losing his jobs as he is a good manager until the arrival of Stanley Victor Collymore. Could without the work of John Gregory and Allan Evans he doesn't seem to do well.

I have an interest as i work for solihull moors who play in the same league. I am a little surprised as I was led to believe that brian wanted to learn some grass Roots football and build up his career again.

Not sure where he can go now but wish him well

Oh and a cheeky plug for Solihull Moors playing away at Bishop Stortford tomorrow night. But come and have a look at one of our games when Villa are not playing you'll be surprised at the Mpm League matchday experience

He might look like he doesn't care but Brian Little walks on water..he also put together the best Villa team in recent years. Anybody that doubts it is a fool.

If Brian was a gobshite he'd be manager of Spurs.

As one who sang that famous song and admire everything about the bloke, I am again saddened by his latest set back, maybe he is just too nice a bloke to survive in the football management game.

I think there's a dignity issue about employment, and also a perception that people involved in football are very well financially rewarded, regardless of the reality. After a certain age, your chances of changing your career based on historical evidence isn't impossible, but will be limited.

You beat me to that post Dave. He felt he had to leave Villa due to his personal problems and never really got his career going again. He touted himself for the job the summer we appointed O'Leary and I  would have given him another shot. And yes, he probably was/is too nice.

An absolute bastard. Short-tempered, aggressive, foul-mouthed and obnoxious in every way.

That had you going didn't it? He's exactly as you'd expect - a total gent.

Shame. It hurts me to see Brian struggling. I hope he has enough to retire into punditory.

Did you know Brian's brother Alan at all Dave? He always struck me as being far more aggressive as a player and a person when they were both at villa as young players.

Didn't they beat you 3-0 on the opening day?

Anyway, that's now Gainsborough Trinity added to the 'shit list'.

What a shame his managerial career has ended with the sack from a Conference North side. I'm surprised he took the job in the first place, and Wrexham too for that matter. Let's hope he finds something rewarding to do away from management.

Agree with that

he should be putting his feet up, can't imagine he needs the money

His heart hasn't been in it since the day he walked out on us.

I believe he achieved his ambition which was to manage the Villa, anything else would have been a let down!
