Darren Byfield has re-signed for Tamworth on non-contract terms.

We're only hoping Jamelia is still soft on him.

Jamelia is too busy being a judge on the Irish version of "The Voice".

Byfield and Hendrie back together again after starting out 20 years ago at the Villa. How they gelling?

Hendrie scored for tamworth today. And Davies for Saints. Could do with some midfielders who get forward and score!

Hendrie's goal was a cracker, 22 yard screamer off the underside of the crossbar.

Tommy Hitz has been at everton in prem league this season but is to be relased. He hasn't played for much of season. GKs Stuart Taylot Boaz Myhill are out of contract. Someone mentioned Mellbergs out of contract too. Always interesting to see progress of ex villains . Stefan Moore was last seen plying his trade at 2 clubs with dual registration Leamington spa and Brackley Town! Euro Hot shot Baros left gala and went back to his first club banik ostrav. With Marshall going and Given almost certain to follow, maybe Myhill is worth a shout for number two keeper. Reasonable age and quality. He did well at Hull and Blues and looked OK as a stand in Premier League keeper at Albion. A bit unlucky to lose his place if I recall correctly.

Surprised to notice the other day that David James is now plying his trade in the Icelandic League with IBV Vestmannaeyjar. Fair play to him, I'm sure he has enough money to retire but obviously loves the game.

Iceland? I remember his reason for moving to Bristol City was to be close to his family home in Devon. He must have been in the same geography class at school as our mate Robbie Savage.

According to Wiki:

On 2 April 2013, James signed a deal with Icelandic club ÍBV until the end of the 2013 season.[45] ÍBV is coached by James' former teammate Hermann Hreiðarsson. The chairman of the ÍBV board stated that James was not on high wages while also stating that he wished some Icelandic players would accept the wages James was on and that James was mainly playing for ÍBV out of kindness and gaining experience as assistant manager to his former team-mate, Hermann Hreidarsson.[46]

Fair play to Jamesy. Has matured from his nights of being addicted to Playstation and changing his hairstyle every month.
